Rob Fijneman

Prof. dr. Rob Fijneman is a Full Professor in IT Auditing at TIAS School for Business and Society, Tilburg University. He concurrently serves as a Global IT Audit Partner at KPMG Switzerland, having previously held leadership roles including Head of Advisory and interim CEO at KPMG Netherlands. His expertise spans IT governance, cybersecurity, audit methodologies, and digital transformation. He coordinates the MSc in IT Auditing at TIAS and authored/co-authored influential publications like Advanced Digital Auditing: Theory and Practice (2022).

His research focuses on risk-based auditing, compliance, and IT innovation. He pioneered the Executive Master of IT-Auditing (EMITA) program and advises multinationals on IT risk management. Recognized with the Officer of Oranje Nassau (2019) for contributions to IT auditing.
