Ritesh Sachan

Ritesh Sachan is an Associate Professor in the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Oklahoma State University. His research focuses on nanoscale materials synthesis, laser-driven processing of advanced materials, and atomic-scale characterization using electron microscopy. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Tennessee (2013) and postdoctoral experience at Oak Ridge National Laboratory.

Key research areas include functional nanoparticles (e.g., high-entropy alloys, complex oxides), laser-induced graphene/diamond nanostructures, and phase transitions in thin films. His work integrates experimental techniques with computational modeling to study structure-property relationships.
