Rishona Zimring is Professor of English and Director of Gender Studies at Lewis & Clark College, specializing in British modernism and interwar cultural studies. Her research examines dance, visual culture, and gender representation in early 20th-century literature.
Research foci include:
- Modernist representations of social dance
- Katherine Mansfield's literary techniques
- Cross-disciplinary art forms
- Gender and aesthetic expression
Fellowships from NEH and Mellon Foundation support her current book project on the Bloomsbury Group. She regularly directs seminars at Modernist Studies Association conferences and mentors students in research collaborations.
