معرفی
Rinku Mishra is a Researcher at the Department of Physics, University of Oslo, Norway. He is part of the 4DSpace team focusing on space weather studies, particularly investigating plasma processes in experimental and natural systems. His current work involves large-scale simulations of plasma instabilities and turbulence under the ERC Consolidator Grant.
Education:
- Ph.D. in Plasma Physics (2019), Gauhati University, India
- M.Sc. in Physics (2012), Tezpur University, India
- B.Sc. in Physics (2010), University of Allahabad, India
Research Focus: Plasma dynamics, auroral particle precipitation effects, dusty plasma systems, and magnetized plasma diagnostics. Key projects include modeling plasma instabilities using particle-in-cell methods and studying space weather impacts at high latitudes.
Grants & Collaborations: Principal contributor to the ERC-funded 4DSpace project (2022–present). Prior postdoctoral fellowships at the Institute for Plasma Research, India (2014–2022).
Labs/Teams: Active member of the Plasma and Space Physics group at the University of Oslo, collaborating with international teams on simulations and space weather modeling.
