Rima Jubran

Rima Jubran, MD, MPH, is a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California and a pediatric oncologist at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA). She serves as the Designated Institutional Official and Director of Graduate Medical Education at CHLA, overseeing all physician training programs. Her clinical focus includes retinoblastoma, histiocytic disorders, and pediatric solid tumors. Dr. Jubran earned her MD from Case Western Reserve University and an MPH from George Washington University, followed by residency and fellowship training in pediatric hematology/oncology.

Her research emphasizes retinoblastoma and Langerhans cell histiocytosis, with contributions to treatment protocols, liquid biopsy applications, and genomic analysis. She actively collaborates with international groups like the Children’s Oncology Group and North American Consortium for Histiocytic Disorders. Dr. Jubran has been recognized with prestigious awards, including the USC Academic Senate Faculty Service Award (2023) and leadership fellowships in academic medicine.

Her work bridges clinical care, education, and research, with notable publications on therapeutic response biomarkers, genomic instability in tumors, and multimodal treatment strategies.
