Ashley Margol

Ashley Margol, MD, MS, is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics and Director of the Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Program at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), part of the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. Her research focuses on the role of inflammation in pediatric medulloblastoma and molecular profiling of brain tumors. She completed her medical degree at the Keck School of Medicine, residency at Los Angeles County-University of Southern California, and a pediatric hematology-oncology fellowship at CHLA.

Her academic affiliations include roles in clinical, biomedical, and translational research. Key research areas include pediatric brain tumors, molecular subtyping, and therapeutic strategies. She has contributed to studies on medulloblastoma, germ cell tumors, and the application of AI in medical imaging (e.g., nnU-Net segmentation).
