Riki Miyoshi is an Associate Professor at the School of Education at Waseda University. Holding a DPhil from Oxford University, his academic work focuses on Restoration Drama and Theatre History, with a particular emphasis on the interplay between historical records and theatrical practices in 17th-century England.
His research projects, supported by JSPS Grants-in-Aid, include studies on Entr'acte Entertainment and Foreign Entertainers in English Drama. He has received the 2019 Waseda Research Award for his contributions to the field.
