Rigmor Berg

Rigmor Berg is an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Community Medicine, Faculty of Health Sciences, UiT The Arctic University of Norway in Tromsø. She specializes in knowledge management and teaches in the Master of Public Health (MPH) program, with significant responsibility for supervision of students.

Her research focuses primarily on sexual health, with particular emphasis on evidence-based practice, HIV/AIDS research, stigma related to sexual minorities and HIV-positive individuals, female genital mutilation, and the buying and selling of sex. She has published extensively on topics related to men who have sex with men (MSM), HIV testing and treatment, mental health, and systematic reviews.
