Dr. Ries Breijer is an Assistant Professor of Corporate Reporting at Nyenrode Business University, affiliated with the Center for Corporate Reporting, Finance & Tax. He completed his part-time BSc and MSc in Accounting at Nyenrode before joining a full-time PhD program, culminating in a dissertation titled "Accountability and Responsibility: The Role of Corporate Reporting".
Research interests focus on non-financial and financial reporting, corporate governance, and regulatory frameworks like the NFRD (2014/95/EU).
