Rida Elias

Rida Elias serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management and Strategy within the College of Business Administration & Public Policy at California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH), joining the institution in August 2023. Her academic focus bridges theoretical research in organizational leadership with practical applications for corporate boards and executives.

Her educational background includes:

• PhD in General Management and Strategy from Ivey Business School at Western University
• MBA with full assistantship from American University of Beirut
• BBA with honors from University of Balamand

Research interests center on CEO dynamics, corporate governance, and strategic leadership, with published work in Leadership Quarterly, Journal of International Business Studies, and Corporate Governance: An International Review. Her scholarship aims to advance theoretical frameworks while providing actionable insights for organizational improvement through leadership development and change management practices.

Dr. Elias actively contributes to the Academy of Management as a Member-at-Large on the Management Consulting (MC) Division Executive Committee since 2018, chairing the 2023 Doctoral Consortium. Prior to academia, she leveraged 12+ years of Middle Eastern management consulting experience where she designed 100+ training modules for major organizations across strategy, governance, and leadership development domains.
