Rick Stierwalt is a distinguished alumnus of the University of Indianapolis (UIndy), having earned a degree in Business Administration in 1980. He later returned to UIndy to serve as an Adjunct Professor in the School of Business, sharing his extensive expertise in finance and entrepreneurship. Stierwalt’s career spans over 25 years in the financial services industry, during which he founded two companies, raised capital, and took them public as CEO.

His contributions to UIndy extend beyond teaching: after serving over two decades on the Board of Trustees and chairing the Finance Committee, his philanthropy led to the construction of the Rick Stierwalt Alumni House, created to foster alumni engagement and support the university’s community.
