Rick Olsen

Dr. Rick Olsen is a Professor in the Department of Communication Studies at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. He holds a Ph.D. in Communication Studies from Regent University, an M.A. in Speech Communication from Pennsylvania State University, and a B.A. in Creative Arts from UNCW. His career highlights include multiple teaching excellence awards and research recognitions.

His research focuses on improving professional communication and leadership skills through real-world projects. Olsen emphasizes client-based learning and peer teachings to enhance business communication principles in marketing contexts.
