Rick Moody is a Professor of the Practice at Tufts University, holding dual appointments in the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts and the Department of English within the School of Arts and Sciences. His career spans acclaimed literary works, teaching, and academic leadership.

Research & Writing: Moody specializes in literary fiction, memoir, and critical essays. His works include The Ice Storm (1994), adapted into a film, and The Long Accomplishment (2019). His interests blend narrative innovation with explorations of identity, family, and cultural critique.
