Richelle Rogers is a Professor at Loyola University Chicago's School of Communication, where she serves as Program Director for the Master’s in Digital Media and Storytelling and an instructor for courses such as Digital Communication and Society and Story Development and Production. She emphasizes experiential learning, guiding students in award-winning multimedia projects. Her international work includes teaching in the Republic of Georgia and consulting on digital media programs funded by the U.S. Embassy.
- Education: MS in Journalism from Medill School of Journalism (Northwestern University), BA in Political Science from DePaul University.
Her research interests focus on digital storytelling, multimedia journalism, international media collaborations, and the integration of cutting-edge tools in communication education. She is developing a multimedia course on St. Ignatius of Loyola through a grant from the Hank Center for Catholic Intellectual Heritage.
Notable scientific awards include the Fulbright U.S. Scholar Award, multiple Peabody Awards, a Columbia University DuPont Award, and a Chicago Emmy. She has also contributed to accreditations of digital media programs in Georgia and collaborated on feature-length stories with Adjara TV and Formula TV.
