Richard Usher

Richard Usher is a Lecturer at the Department of Photography within the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design (MOME), Hungary. He has held roles including Master Instructor across the Media Institute, Photography BA/MA programs, Photo Lab, Photo Studio, and TechPark. His career spans over two decades in academia and commercial photography.

Education: Studied Philosophy at King's College London, later earned an MA in Photography from MOME (1995). Professional background includes commercial photography in car advertising, TV commercial production, and studio management. Transitioned to academia in Hungary after relocating with his family.
