Richard Stange

Prof. Richard Stange leads the Department of Regenerative Musculoskeletal Medicine at the University of Münster, holding the Chair for Translational Regenerative Medicine. His research examines healing disorders in musculoskeletal systems under challenging conditions including trauma, osteoporosis, and chronic inflammation.

Research focuses on:

• Molecular mechanisms of bone formation and fracture healing
• Tendon degeneration and regeneration processes
• Cell-matrix interactions in musculoskeletal tissues
