Richard Roewer

Dr. Richard Roewer is an Associate at the GIGA Institute for Asian Studies and Executive Director of the Kreisau-Initiative. He holds a DPhil in Politics from the University of Oxford and specializes in Southeast Asian politics, particularly Myanmar's political transformation and party dynamics. His research focuses on party formation, authoritarian regimes, and conflict resolution in Myanmar.
