Richard Moll

Richard Moll serves as an Adjunct Professor at the Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa, since 2012. He retired from Statistics Canada in 2012 after serving as Senior Research Analyst for the Timber Resource Account and subsequently served as President of the Natural Resource Modeling Association (2012-2014).

Dr. Moll specializes in System Dynamics for socio-ecological modeling, with research spanning forest resource systems under fire/pest risks, coastal community vulnerability to storms and sea-level rise, and current health/social care dynamics. He employs STELLA, R, and GAMS for quantitative analysis of complex socio-economic-ecological systems, with teaching areas in Business Analytics, Decision Support, and Health Informatics.
