Richard Lehr is a Professor of Journalism at Boston University’s College of Communication. A renowned author and podcast host, his work spans investigative nonfiction, historical narratives, and true crime. He is best known for his books on topics like domestic terrorism, organized crime, and civil rights history, including Black Mass, adapted into a major film. Lehr previously worked at The Boston Globe as a Spotlight Team member, earning a Pulitzer Prize nomination and multiple awards.
