Richard L. Sweeney is an Associate Professor of Economics at Boston College, affiliated with the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences and the Schiller Institute. He holds a B.S. from Boston College (2004) and a Ph.D. in Public Policy from Harvard University (2015). His research focuses on environmental and energy economics, including topics like climate policy, renewable energy markets, and industrial organization. Dr. Sweeney has held visiting scholar positions at MIT and the University of Chicago.
