Richard Kwadzofio is a Module Assistant and Seminar Leader in Constitutional and Administrative Law at the University of Leeds' School of Law, part of the Faculty of Social Sciences. He is currently a PhD candidate in Law at the University of Leeds, focusing on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Environmental Protection within Corporate Governance. His academic background includes a BSc Hons in Business Studies, a Qualifying Law Degree (QLD), and two LLMs in International Commercial Law and International Financial Law.
Professionally, he has worked in high-street London law firms, the Criminal Prosecution Department of Ghana’s Ministry of Justice, and the Attorney General’s Office. He was also a pioneering legal expert on the LexisNexis AI LLM project. His research interests span constitutional law, international commercial law, law and development, foreign investment law, and the sociolegal implications of colonialism and neo-colonialism in post-colonial Africa and South America.
Richard is a member of the Society of Legal Scholars and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (London Branch). His doctoral research employs doctrinal and empirical approaches to explore business roles in environmental protection and corporate governance.
