Richard K. Lee, M.D., Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute and holds secondary appointments in the Department of Cell Biology and Anatomy, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and the Neuroscience Graduate Program at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He serves as the Director and Primary Investigator of Bascom Palmer’s Ophthalmic Neuro-Rejuvenation Laboratory.

Clinical Expertise spans glaucoma, cataracts, and intraocular lens management. He has published extensively on topics ranging from toxic optic neuropathy to laser therapy for childhood glaucoma, with keywords spanning ophthalmology, neuroscience, clinical epidemiology, and artificial intelligence.
