Richard Johnson is a Professor of Management at the Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business, University of Missouri. He holds a PhD in Management from Texas A&M University (1992) and a B.S. in Geology from the University of Miami (1982). His research focuses on corporate restructuring and governance, IPO strategies, international diversification, and corporate social performance. He has published in leading journals such as the Academy of Management Journal and Strategic Management Journal. Johnson serves on editorial boards for Organization Science and the Journal of Management, and previously held the Puterbaugh Chair in American Enterprise at the University of Oklahoma.
