Richard Hao Zhang is a Distinguished Professor and Amazon Scholar at the School of Computing Science, Simon Fraser University. His academic roles include teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in geometric modelling and computer graphics. He holds a PhD from the University of Toronto (2003), and M.Math and B.Math degrees from the University of Waterloo (1997, 1995).
His research focuses on computer graphics, geometry processing, and shape analysis. Notable contributions include advancements in geometric modelling and computer animation techniques. He is a member of the Siggraph Academy, recognizing his significant contributions to the field.
