Dr. Richard Hamilton serves as the Melanesia Program Director at The Nature Conservancy, affiliated with the ARC Centre of Excellence for Coral Reef Studies headquartered at James Cook University. He leads fisheries and sea turtle conservation programs in Melanesia, manages a 20-staff team, and engages in public fundraising and stakeholder communication.
