Richard Fabri is an Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator for Sport Management at the School of Hospitality, Sport and Tourism Management within Husson University's College of Business. He holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education from the University of Maine, a Master’s in Sport Administration from the University of Miami, and a Bachelor of Physical Education from Northeastern University.

His research and professional focus centers on experiential learning in sport management, athletic administration, and the development of recreational sports programs and facilities. Richard emphasizes creating inclusive educational environments that blend theory with hands-on experience.
Professional recognitions include the NAIA Region X Athletic Director of the Year award and a nomination for ACE’s Fitness Director of the Year. He has served on NAIA national committees and NIRSA professional boards, contributing to industry standards in athletics and recreation.
As a former Director of Intercollegiate Athletics at the University of Maine at Machias, Richard led departmental growth and facility development. He also brings expertise in coaching, officiating, and curriculum design through roles at DePaul University, Northeastern University, and the University of Rio Grande.
