Richard D. Harvey is Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Saint Louis University's College of Arts and Sciences. He teaches courses including Social Psychology, Psychology of Oppression, and Organizational Change.
Education includes a Ph.D. from University of Kansas. Research examines collective identity in relation to prejudice, stigma, colorism, and organizational phenomena including employee engagement and performance.
Recent publications focus on workplace levity, colorism measurement, weight stigma, and racial identity's impact on health behaviors. Research consistently addresses social group dynamics and organizational applications.
