Richard Coggins

Dr. Richard Coggins is a College Lecturer in Politics at Oriel College, University of Oxford. His research focuses on the politics of decolonization in British colonial Africa, Labour governments of the 1960s and 1970s, and the international history of African states during this period. He specializes in colonial Zimbabwe, South Africa, Zambia, Nigeria, and the role of oil in decolonization processes.
