Richard Carroll is a Teaching Professor at American University's School of Public Affairs, Department of Government, specializing in international economics and political economy. With degrees from Georgetown University (B.A., M.A.) and the University of Pennsylvania (MBA), he brings expertise in economic evaluation of presidential administrations and income/wealth distribution. His courses include GOVT-221 Income and Wealth in America (Fall 2024) and GOVT-423 Political Economy of Presidential Administrations (2016).
Research Interests: Focus on quantitative analysis of presidential economic policies, wealth inequality, and public policy frameworks. Current work examines income distribution trends and their societal impacts.
