Richard Ahn

Richard Ahn, M.D., Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Radiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center, specializing in the Breast Imaging and Community Radiology divisions. He holds a B.A. in chemical biology from the University of California-Berkeley, a Ph.D. in chemistry from Northwestern University, and an M.D. from Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine. His clinical training includes surgery internship at Northwestern and radiology residency and fellowship in interventional radiology/breast imaging at UT Southwestern. He is certified by the American Board of Radiology.

Dr. Ahn's research focuses on advancing diagnostic and interventional radiology techniques, resulting in over 20 peer-reviewed publications and one book chapter. His work has been presented globally at major conferences. Professional memberships include the Radiological Society of North America, American College of Radiology, and Society of Breast Imaging.

He actively contributes to academic radiology through research and clinical practice, with a focus on improving patient care through imaging advancements.
