Richard A. Daynard is the University Distinguished Professor of Law at Northeastern University’s School of Law and serves as President of the Public Health Advocacy Institute (PHAI). He chairs the Tobacco Products Liability Project and co-founded the Center for Public Health Litigation. His work focuses on legal accountability of industries for public health harms, with expertise in tobacco, obesity, opioids, and gun control litigation.
