Rich Campanella is a Professor and Associate Dean for Research at the Tulane School of Architecture. He is an award-winning geographer and author of eleven books and over 220 articles focusing on the geography, history, architecture, and culture of greater New Orleans, Louisiana, and the Gulf Coast. His work explores urban fabrics, physical and ethnic geographies, and historical urban development, including notable projects on dewatering New Orleans and the city’s restoration post-catastrophes.
