Riccardo Scarpa is a Professor in the Business School at Durham University, with affiliations including the Institute of Hazard, Risk and Resilience. He holds a Laurea in Agricultural Science from the University of Tuscia (1988), an MSc in Environmental Impact Assessment from Aberystwyth University (1990), and MA/PhD in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (1995/1999). He has held academic roles globally, including Professorships at the Waikato Management School (since 2005) and the University of Verona (since 2014).
