Riccardo Buccolieri is a Full Professor at the University of Salento, affiliated with the Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences and Technologies and based at the Ecotekne Center. His research focuses on urban meteorology and local-scale atmospheric circulation, particularly urban air quality, environmental fluid dynamics, turbulence and pollutant dispersion, and the role of urban vegetation in enhancing breathability.
