Dr. Aalizadeh specializes in developing High-Resolution Mass Spectrometric (HRMS) techniques for non-targeted screening (qNTS) of environmental contaminants. His research spans priority pollutants, emerging contaminants, and transformation products, with emphasis on exposomics to link chemical exposure to metabolomic and proteomic changes in biological systems. He employs omics technologies to establish causal relationships between exogenous chemical exposure and health effects, particularly focusing on bio-accumulative persistent compounds.
