Reyn Joseph O'Born

Reyn Joseph O'Born is an Associate Professor at the University of Agder within the Department of Engineering Sciences, specializing in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Circular Economy applications for infrastructure and battery systems. He leads the ENTERS UiA research group and has supervised over 70 students since 2012, including current PhD candidates Jayachandra Malavatu and Alexander Grødum Vetnes.

His research focuses on sustainable infrastructure through LCA, circular economy implementation in road construction, battery reuse/recycling, and sustainable construction materials. Recent work examines geopolymer concrete applications and Norwegian road maintenance sustainability.
