Renée Lyons is the Executive Director of Science Outreach at Clemson University's College of Science Dean's Office. She holds a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction of Science Education from Clemson University (2017) and has extensive experience in K-12 science education, including eight years of teaching internationally and in Upstate South Carolina.

Her research focuses on broadening participation in science through equitable education practices. Key contributions include her NSF-funded project "My STEM My Story", which combines a graphic novel and after-school STEM Club to nurture positive science identities among African American youth. Her work emphasizes curriculum innovation and community engagement in STEM education.
