Renae Williams Niles is a distinguished arts leader with over 25 years of multifaceted experience in the nonprofit and cultural sectors. She currently serves as Chief Content and Engagement Officer for the Los Angeles Philharmonic while holding leadership roles as Board Chair of the Association of Performing Arts Professionals and Board Member of American Dance Movement.
Her professional expertise spans arts administration, dance curation, and cultural policy development. She has held pivotal positions including President of the Western Arts Alliance, Trustee of Dance/USA, and Advisor to the New England Foundation for the Arts’ National Dance Project. As a renowned curator and moderator, she has facilitated high-profile dialogues with artists such as Yo-Yo Ma, Camille A. Brown, Sir Matthew Bourne, and the creative team behind La La Land, with upcoming curation of The Joyce Theater’s American Dance Platform in 2022.
Ms. Williams Niles significantly influences arts funding landscapes through panelist roles at the James Irvine Foundation, National Endowment for the Arts, and United States Artists, alongside anonymous nomination work for national foundations.
