Professor Ren Bin is a faculty member at Xiamen University leading the National-Local Joint Engineering Research Center for New Energy Vehicle Power Supply Technology. His research pioneers nanoscale in-situ spectroscopic electrochemical instrumentation for precise interface characterization in catalytic systems.
His core research interests include spectroscopic electrochemistry, nanoscale characterization, electrocatalysis, interface science, two-dimensional materials, and in-situ instrumentation. This work establishes molecular-level structure-function correlations that directly guide the design of novel catalysts and catalytic processes for energy applications.
Professor Ren Bin received the First Prize of the Fujian Natural Science Award in 2023 for his project "High Spatial Resolution In-situ Spectroscopic Electrochemical Instruments, Methods and Applications." This prestigious recognition highlights his team's development of groundbreaking nanoscale characterization methodologies.
