Tao WANG is a Professor at the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Xiamen University, and a Researcher at the Tan Kah Kee Innovation Laboratory. His work focuses on electrochemical interface kinetics and catalyst design for fuel cells and hydrocarbon conversion.

Research Interests involve combining in-situ spectroscopy with molecular dynamics simulations to study electrochemical reaction kinetics, optimize interface design, and develop catalysts for fuel cells and hydrocarbon conversion. His work addresses challenges in CO/H2S tolerance and reaction selectivity.
Recent Publications (2023-2018) highlight advancements in proton diffusion suppression, propene oxidation selectivity, and interfacial hydrogen bond tuning. These span journals like Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., J. Am. Chem. Soc., and Nat. Catal..
