doc. dr Relja Suručić is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Banja Luka, specializing in Pharmacognosy. His research focuses on natural product chemistry, drug design, and computational studies targeting enzyme inhibition, antiviral agents, and nanotechnology applications. He leads projects on phytochemicals' biomedical potential and SARS-CoV-2 inhibition mechanisms.
Research interests include:
- Design of multitarget drugs for neurodegenerative diseases
- Antioxidant and antiparasitic activities of plant extracts
- In silico modeling of bioactive compounds
- Biosynthesis of nanoparticles for medical use
