Reinhard Pollak

Reinhard Pollak is a Professor of Sociology at the University of Mannheim and Head of the Department 'Monitoring Society and Social Change' at GESIS. His research focuses on social mobility, educational disparities, gender inequality, and social classes. Previously, he held roles as Professor at Freie Universität Berlin and Head of the Project Group 'National Educational Panel Study: Vocational Training and Lifelong Learning' at the Social Science Research Center (WZB), Berlin.
