Reinhard Müller is a Professor of Old Testament at the Faculty of Theology, Georg-August University of Göttingen. His academic journey includes studies in Protestant Theology (Oberursel, Göttingen, Munich), a doctorate (2003) under Prof. Dr. Rudolf Smend, and habilitation (2008) in Old Testament Studies at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. He has held roles such as Research Assistant (2005-2014) at Munich's Faculty of Protestant Theology and Visiting Professor at Humboldt University Berlin (2011).

- Prior Roles: Professor of Old Testament at University of Münster (2014-2019), Ordained Minister (2006), Research Assistant at Munich (2005-2014)
Research Focus: His work centers on Ugaritic and ancient Hebrew poetry, the origins of Yahweh worship, Psalms corpus analysis, prophetic literature, Deuteronomy, and hermeneutics. He actively contributes to editorial boards and academic committees.
