Dr. Reiko Tachibana is Associate Professor of Comparative Literature, Japanese, and Asian Studies at Penn State University. Her research examines postwar Japanese literature, transnational writers, and East-West literary connections.
Research specialties:

- Postwar writing in Germany and Japan
Her book analyzes how writers from Germany and Japan addressed national identity and historical memory following WWII.
