Dr. Reihaneh Samsami is the Tagliatela Family Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator for Construction Engineering and Management in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of New Haven's Tagliatela College of Engineering. She holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Michigan Technological University, an M.S. in Construction Management from Syracuse University, a Mini MBA from the University of Tehran, and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
Her research focuses on automated construction inspection, digital project delivery, highway asset management, and UAS data analysis. She has worked extensively with Departments of Transportation (DOTs) and received the Excellence in Teaching Award at Michigan Tech for courses like 'Computer Applications in Civil Engineering' and 'Fundamentals of Construction Engineering.' Her work bridges advanced technologies like UAS and BIM with practical construction management challenges.
