Rehan Junejo

Dr. Rehan Junejo is a Senior Lecturer in Human Physiology at Manchester Metropolitan University's Department of Life Sciences. His primary research focuses on integrative neural and metabolic control mechanisms in cerebrovascular and cardiovascular systems, with translational applications in both healthy and diseased populations. He holds a research fellowship at the Liverpool Centre for Cardiovascular Science (University of Liverpool and Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital) and serves on the editorial board of Hypertension as an early career editorial fellow. His academic qualifications include a PhD in Physiology from the University of Birmingham (2017), an MSc in Integrated Physiology from the University of Nottingham (2011), and an MBBS from Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (2009).

His research emphasizes cerebrovascular dysfunction in atrial fibrillation, neurovascular coupling, and cardiovascular pathophysiology.
