Regine Gerike

Prof. Regine Gerike serves as the Dean of the Friedrich List Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences at Technische Universität Dresden, appointed in 2022 for a 2022–2025 term. Previously, she held roles as Vice Dean (2019–2022) and contributed to faculty leadership committees. Her academic focus centers on sustainable urban mobility, transport safety, and policy implementation. Key research areas include cycling infrastructure design, pedestrian safety in adverse conditions, and the socio-environmental impacts of transport systems. She emphasizes strengthening international collaboration, publication culture, and quality in transport engineering education.
