Regina Schleicher

Dr. Regina Schleicher is a Lecturer at the Institute of Romance Languages and Literatures within the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Duisburg-Essen, a position she has held since April 2019. Her academic career spans multiple institutions, including acting professorships at the University of Kassel (2012-2013) and University of Regensburg (2012-2013), as well as research and teaching roles at Goethe University Frankfurt/Main and the University of Koblenz-Landau. Schleicher specializes in foreign language didactics, intercultural education, and the historical analysis of antisemitism in visual media, with a focus on political cartoons and textbook narratives.
