Prof. Dr. Susanne Niemeier is a Professor of Applied Linguistics and Foreign Language Didactics English at the University of Koblenz-Landau, Campus Koblenz since 2002. She currently serves as Head of the Institute for English and American Studies (since 2024), having previously led the institute from 2009-2014. Her leadership roles include Deputy Head of the Graduate School of Excellence UPGradE (2006-2009) and Presidency of the German Society for Cognitive Linguistics (2012-2014).
