Regina Rose Stephan

Regina Rose Stephan serves as Professor of Architectural and Urban History and Deputy Director of the Institute of Architecture (AI Mainz) at Mainz University of Applied Sciences since 2008, following her postdoctoral fellowship at the Institute for the History and Theory of Architecture at Technical University of Darmstadt (2000-2008) under Prof. Dr.-Ing. Werner Durth.

Her academic foundation includes a doctorate from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich completed in 1992. She is an art historian specializing in architectural history and theory with deep expertise in 19th-20th century architectural developments.
